This Disclaimer supplements the User Service Agreement. It sets forth the critical compliance obligations and liability provisions governing your use of the Platform.

Compliance Objectives: To ensure a secure and compliant Digital Asset trading environment, ETZ has implemented a comprehensive Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Counter-Terrorism Financing (CFT), and Economic Sanctions Compliance Program. We strictly enforce compliance protocols to maintain lawful business operations and ensure transparency with regulatory authorities.

Regulatory Framework Classification: We acknowledge that global regulatory authorities have adopted diverse frameworks for Digital Assets (e.g., classifying them as "Virtual Financial Assets", "Convertible Virtual Currency", or "Virtual Commodities"). ETZ classifies all Digital Assets listed on the Platform as innovative alternative assets; they do not constitute "currency" or "money" under traditional legal definitions.

Material Disclosures: Digital Assets do not constitute legal tender and are not backed or guaranteed by any government or central bank.

While ETZ monitors global regulatory developments, we strictly comply with the laws of the jurisdictions in which we operate. As a regulated entity, we cooperate fully with law enforcement agencies to investigate and prevent illicit activities. Furthermore, ETZ does not provide services to users from restricted jurisdictions, including but not limited to: Afghanistan, Burundi, Cambodia, Canada, Central African Republic, Mainland China, Cuba, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Hong Kong SAR, Iran, Laos, Macao SAR, Myanmar, Netherlands, North Korea, Panama, Singapore, Somalia, United Kingdom, United States (including all territories), and the Crimea, Donetsk, and Luhansk regions of Ukraine.

AML and CFT Control Framework: ETZ employs a Risk-Based Approach (RBA) utilizing a multi-layered control framework (KYC verification, sanctions screening against UN/OFAC lists, and continuous transaction monitoring).

Risk Disclosure: Digital asset trading involves high risk. Assets are not endorsed by any central bank, and trading or holding digital assets may result in significant financial loss.

Liability Provisions:

6.1 Disclaimer of Warranties: The "Services" are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. ETZ expressly disclaims all warranties, express or implied. ETZ is not liable for price inaccuracies, transmission errors/delays, or third-party breaches.

6.2 Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ETZ and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages. Under no circumstances shall the aggregate liability of ETZ exceed the amount of fees paid by you to ETZ under this Agreement prior to the event giving rise to the claim.
